Pan Pacific Retail Management (HQ: Malaysia, Representative: Satoshi Machida), a Pan Pacific International Holdings (PPIH) Group company, is opening a JONETZ by DON DON DONKI outlet at Sunway Pyramid on 1 November 2022.

DON DON DON DONKI is expanding its business in the Pacific Rim, including Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia, based on the Japan brand specialty store concept. This will be its third outlet in Malaysia.
The Sunway Pyramid shopping mall is a huge commercial complex with a retail area of approximately 400,000m², housing more than 700 specialty shops that attract locals and tourists alike.

The First SEN SEN SUSHI & TOMITA SEIMAI in Malaysia!

Opened in Hong Kong in 2021, its sushi restaurant Sen Sen Sushi is highly popular with local customers, with 4 outlets in Hong Kong and 1 in Thailand. For the first time, Sen Sen Sushi has landed in Malaysia to offer customers a more authentic sushi experience at JONETZ by DON DON DONKI.

Enjoy the combination of freshly milled Japanese rice (Koshihikari), combined with an original blend of red vinegar, and the freshest ingredients from across the globe.
The restaurant pre-opened on 28 October at 5pm Malaysian time, with sushi available to DONKI app members ahead of others.

Also, itc rice specialty shop Tomita Seimai will offer the original taste of Japanese rice to Malaysians. Tomita Seimai offers a selection of Akita Komachi and Haenuki rice polished in the shop, and onigiri (rice balls) made from Koshihikari rice grown in Niigata Prefecture.

Wide Variety, From Wagyu Beef Skewers to Japanese Sweets

At JONETZ by DON DON DONKI Sunway Pyramid, customers will find a ‘wagyu skewer station’ at the entrance. The outlet also offers a wide range of desserts and frozen foods, aiming to enhance customer convenience.

Wagyu beef skewers, made from Halal-certified* A5 wagyu beef, are a very popular menu item that has been well received in Malaysia because people can easily enjoy high-grade wagyu beef.

*Halal-certified product by a Japanese Halal certification body that have mutual recognition with the Department of Islamic Development (JAKIM) Malaysia.
