Pre-loved shop Jalan Jalan Japan opens its 8th Malaysian store
The secondhand outlet “Jalan Jalan Japan (JJJ)” opened its 8th store in Masai, Johor Bahru on 25th May.

BOK MARKETING SDN.BHD.–the Malaysian subsidiary of Japan’s BOOK-OFF Group–opened a new secondhand outlet “Jalan Jalan Japan Masai”, in Masai, Johor Bahru, Malaysia’s second largest city (Tuesday, 25th May 2021).
Since the opening of its first Malaysian outlet in November 2016, it continuously increased its outlets at a pace of two per year. The Masai store marks its eighth opening in Malaysia.
With the aspiration of “making Malaysia a place to enjoy the vibes of Japan”, Jalan Jalan Japan (JJJ) boasts a 500sqm space with over 200,000 pre-loved items from Japan. They include apparel, household goods, baby goods, toys, hobbies, sporting goods, musical instruments, furniture, accessories, and kimonos. More than 70,000 people visit the stores every month.
As JJJ opens its doors mainly in the metropolitan area, users living there have more opportunities to enjoy shopping close to home. On the other hand, there have been many fervent requests from users living in rural areas for an outlet nearby. Thus, it opened a new outlet at the KIPMALL Masai mall in Johor Bahru, the second largest city in Malaysia. This is just the beginning of JJJ’s regional expansion.
Its idea of wanting to enable people to enjoy the Japan’s vibe even while in Malaysia, is now becoming a reality.
