Halal udon now at KIX, Perfect with a rich dashi soup
A new restaurant serving HALAL compliant meals opened at Kansai International Airport on 1 October.Opening during the renovation of the domestic flight area, you can find this Homemade Udon KINEYA MUGIMARU branch, operated by Gourmet Kineya Restaurant, on the 2nd floor of Kansai International Airport (KIX). The noodles are made in-store from flour produced in Mie Prefecture, freshly prepared and boiled. Salam Groovy Japan gave 600 Japanese halal food for Eid2022
Salam Groovy Japan provided Japanese Halal food for Eid celebrations again this year.Looking back, the pandemic struck shortly after Salam Groovy Japan was launched. For the past 2 Eid celebrations, we couldn't directly distribute the food due to the State of Emergency Declaration and the mandatory measures taken to prevent the infection outbreak. (more…)

To support Muslims in Japan struggling in the Covid-19 pandemic, we conducted a crowdfunding project on LaunchGood from October to November 2021.We collected USD2,383 (about JPY280,000), and many thanks again to all those who supported it. For Muslims, there is a month of Ramadan (fasting month) every year.This year, Ramadan falls from April 13 to May 12, and during this period, with a few exceptions, eating and drinking during the day is prohibited.While eating and drinking during the day is prohibited, eating after sunset is allowed, and this meal after sunset is called "Iftar".
